A three-day Agricultural Fair is being held at Triveni of Triyuga Municipality, Udayapur coinciding with the occasion of Makar Sankranti.The District Agriculture Development Office (DADO), Udayapur is organizing the district level agricultural fair with support of dozens of social organizations of the district.The Fair will be held until January 15, DADO, Udayapur Chief, Saroj Kant Adhikari said. The Fair will present 27 stalls displaying products of the district’s farmers and other agricultural tools.
Around a hundred farmers including 30 different farmers’ association of the district will exhibit their products which include various crops, vegetables, fruits and fishes among other commodities, DADO, Udayapur’s Crop Development Official, Bishwo Raj Dhungana said.The Fair will also exhibit new technologies and agro tools related to Climate Change. The organizers expect more than a 1,000 locals and farmers to attend the fair during which outstanding farmers will be conferred awards.

6 year old Pranshu is from Jalandhar in the Indian state of Punjab and he was born with a my$tery medical condition. The condition has left him with a swollen forehead and deep set, narrow eyes. Villagers believe Pranshu is a divine child and has been nicknamed as ‘Lord Ganesha’ even though he is unable to walk.
Pranshu meets worshipers outside a mosque near his village every Thursday. Due to the numbers of worshipers increasing everyday, his father has decided not to let devotees enter the family home. Jaswinder is a local villager who comes to see Pranshu. He said, ‘People come to see Pranshu as they believe he is the reincarnation of the Ganesha. People bow down their heads in from of him, I also do the same.’
Even Kamlesh, Pranshu’s father believes that his son is not like other children.
He said, ‘He is a God. I also worship him like the other villagers. His whole body is like the Lord Ganesha. He gives blessings to everyone. Villagers who meet him get their wishes fulfilled. He goes to school everyday and when people see my son, they welcome him with flowers. His eyes were like Lord Ganesha.
